I felt like doing something special for the first holiday strip of Mike & Nix. What better way to comemerate a holiday that many associate with pain and sufferring than making you read two more panels of my comic? I can think of none better, and believe me I tried! Oh, how I tried!

I really wanted to stay home tonight and plot ways to scare little children, but I have to work the whole night away. At least they're letting us dress up, but when you bus tables all night long, you arn't left with many costumes that fall in the realm of "practical". I'm probably gonna dress in all black snazzy clothes, get a nice pair of sunglasses, and pretend I'm in the Matrix all night long.

Manager: "Hey Mike, we need you to get out there and clean those tables!"

Me: "But there's so many of them!"

Manager: "Just choose one and start cleaning!"

Me: *crypticly* "I can't choose. I won't."

Manager: "I knew we shouldn't have let you nut-jobs dress-up up this... *INTERRUPTING KICK TO THE FACE*

Well, that probably won't happen, but it would make my night more interesting. The Matrix costume isn't the most practical anyways because I'd have to wear sunglasses indoors to make the costume complete, which would cause some problems. I'd also probably end up with all manner of secret sauces on my snazzy black clothing before the night is over. I don't have any better ideas, though, so I'll try and make it work.

Save me some candy, will ya?
