Enter the Poppins

Think about it, she can't quite fly, but she can float, she's very mystical, and she has an enchanted stick of sorts (the umbrella). Mary Poppins is in fact, a ninja. If I had the time to watch the movie again I'm sure I could find more parallels, but forget that for a second. Let's talk sequels. For the title, I'm thinking something like Mary Poppins 2: A Spoonful of Ninjitsu. A ninja from Mary Poppins' old clan has been tracking her for years and finally ends up at the Banks' home. Upset that he has just missed her, the ninja kills them all before continuing his quest. Poppins gets word of this and vows to avenge the honor of the dearly departed Banks family... WITH A VENGENCE! Of course, while it will deeply explore the dark depths of Mary's past and have a strong action bent, it will remain faithful to the style of the original and still be of the "musical" genre. Featuring a catchy little tunes such as: Supercalifragilisticexpiala-DIE, Spoonful of Ninjitsu, and of course Let's Go Commit Sekkepu with a Kite! I think I'm on to something here. If you'll excuse me, I have some studio executives to call.
